Indeed, the FDA approved the pill form of semaglutide (name brand Wegovy) just a couple of weeks later. The webinar featured Priya Jaisinghani, MD, DABOM, clinical assistant professor at NYU Langone in New York, N.Y. – who discussed new and upcoming oral formulations of AOMs — and Mehmet Furkan Burak, MD, of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Mass.
