Over the past 30 years, through the persistent efforts of successive generations of specialists, the Group has achieved fruitful outcomes in clinical practice, scientific research, talent cultivation, international academic exchanges and other fields. This paper reviews the developmental course of the Group, summarizes the work accomplished by its seven successive committees, analyzes the gaps between domestic research on diabetic foot and peripheral vascular diseases in China and the advanced international standards, and puts forward proposals for the future development of the Group. 中华医学会糖尿病学分会糖尿病足学组于1995年成立，于2012年更名为糖尿病足与周围血管病学组（以下简称学组）。30余年来，学组经过几代人的努力，在临床、科研、人才培养、国际学术交流等方面都取得了一定成绩。该文回顾学组的发展历程，总结梳理7届学组开展的工作，分析我国糖尿病足与周围血管病与国际先进水平的差距，并对学组未来的工作发展提出建议。.
