Dr Cryer currently serves as chair of internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and professor of medicine at Texas A&M University Naresh K. Vashisht College of Medicine.
Byron is a compassionate clinician, an accomplished physician-scientist, a gifted educator, a charismatic national leader in medication safety, a superb mentor, and a wonderful friend.
