We read with great interest the recent results reported by Ding and colleagues [1] from a trial investigating intravesical positron emission tomography (PET)/magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) using [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-SGC8 targeting PTK7 in non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). Accurate identification of residual tumor following transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT) remains a major clinical challenge, particularly in the era of bladder-preserving strategies, as repeated resections and multiple intravesical therapies induce extensive inflammatory remodeling of the bladder.
