Eugene P. DiMagno (Gene) died peacefully on November 30, 2025.
He was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on January 3, 1937, to Anna (née Casciotti) DiMagno and Saverio A. DiMagno, an Italian immigrant and, later, a well-known artist.
After graduating from Franklin & Marshall College (1958), he completed his medical education at University of Pennsylvania (1962) and served as a Captain in the US Army Medical Corps (1963–1966), first as the 547th Engineer Battalion Surgeon and then as Commander of the 19th Medical Detachment, 7th Army Headquarters in Germany.
