To the Editor A recent article comparing bioresorbable vs metallic occluders for transcatheter atrial septal defect closure demonstrated excellent bioresorption at 2 years and noninferior efficacy of the bioresorbable device. I wish to highlight several aspects that help contextualize the implications of this study.
