Endocrine Society Introduces Rare Endocrine Disease Fellows Program

The Endocrine Society has launched the Rare Endocrine Disease (RED) Fellows Program, specifically designed to enhance the expertise of early-career physicians dealing with rare endocrine diseases. This program aims to bridge existing gaps in awareness, diagnosis, and treatment of these conditions and is developed in collaboration with the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD).

The RED Fellows Program comprises two main components: an immersive in-person workshop scheduled for April 17-18 at the Endocrine Society Headquarters in Washington, D.C., and five on-demand, multi-module online courses. During the workshop, fellows will have the opportunity to interact directly with experts specializing in rare endocrine diseases, engage in case-based discussions, and participate in a NORD-led rare patient panel.

Up to 50 domestic fellows will be accepted into the program. Program directors and faculty have until March 2, 2026, to nominate candidates.
