Achyuta Samanta Receives AAPI Award for Social Contributions

Achyuta Samanta, a noted educationist and the founder of KIIT, KIMS, and KISS, has been honored with the prestigious AAPI award. This recognition was awarded for his exemplary work in social service and his efforts in promoting the partnership between India and the United States. The accolade was presented by the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), which is among the oldest and largest organizations representing over 120,000 physicians of Indian descent in the U.S.

The award ceremony took place during the annual convention, AAPICON 2026, held from July 2 to 5, 2026, in Tampa, Florida. Samanta received the award from AAPI President Amit Chakrabarty in front of an audience of approximately 3,000 physicians.
