A correction has been issued regarding a previously published article in The Lancet Infectious Diseases concerning a vaccine candidate against Salmonella enterica serovars Typhi and Paratyphi A. The updated acknowledgment states that “This work was funded by the Wellcome Trust [089102/Z/09/Z] and this publication was sponsored by GSK.” This correction was incorporated into the online version of the article on February 4, 2026, and will also appear in the printed version. The original findings were derived from a phase 1 randomized controlled trial involving healthy adults in Europe.
