The Member States of the World Health Organization (WHO) recently completed a weeklong series of negotiations focused on a draft annex related to Pathogen Access and Benefit Sharing (PABS), which is an essential aspect of the WHO Pandemic Agreement. This fifth session of the Intergovernmental Working Group on the Pandemic Agreement (IGWG), established by the World Health Assembly (WHA) the previous year, concluded its productive discussions that took place from February 9 to 14, 2026.
