Extract We read with great interest the diagnostic criteria for allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis/mycoses (ABPA/M) proposed by the International Society for Human and Animal Mycology (ISHAM) working group [1], that was recently published in the European Respiratory Journal . A garwal et al . [2] reported that Aspergillus fumigatus sensitisation affects up to 25% of adult asthmatic patients presenting to tertiary care centres, with nearly 37% of sensitised individuals progressing to ABPA.
